I'm learning that as I age, technology ages even faster than I. Here's to figuring things out!

Word or Theme of the Week- Better, Yes?

I love reading and writing and I really want to make this as easy, fun and creative for everyone who reads and writes here.  So, because time management is always an issue, lets do the word or suggested theme for the entire week. 

I'll start with the first suggestion:

Remembering Grandparents

The only rules here are to write with total self acceptance.  Don't worry about what others think...Let your freak flag fly.  Hence, the title. 

Feel free to add pics.  If you don't feel like writing, just add a photo.  Writing can consist of a poem, blog post, short story, anything really.

Whoever gets here first tomorrow has the responsibility of considering the word or the theme of the day.  Here is an example:  Last February, someone gave me the theme: Temper Tantrums:

Temper Tantrums

Human beings young and old
Essentially run hot or cold
Damn emotions haywire
Whenever able
Pushed inevitably
To stutter 
Unstable
Temper tantrums vomit
Fear runs wild
Shaping us dummies 
Back inward-child
Flaming; make
Assy choices
Wax tempestuous
Hear Demon voices
I wish I'd handled that better
I wish I wish
Still I like myself better
Than some mellow cold fish

Welcome

Its late tonight and way past my usual bed time.  Here is my update and reasons for creating this blog:

One, word or theme of the day - as presented by a worthy forum, usually inspires me to write many things I'm proud of and I always love reading what other people think, write, feel, etc. Who ever gets here first, on any given day, should be the first presenter of the theme of the day.

To me, self acceptance is the key to all self discovery.  With all themes presented, let us all keep accepting ourselves in mind.  Have fun.
